Picture Polish - Blogger

I had the luck to purchase piCture pOlish's "Blogger" - a rainbow-infused glitter bomb of all shapes and sizes. There are very few rainbow glitter polishes that stand out, and this is one of them!

Blogger would easily be opaque in about two coats, but I wanted to apply a little over white.  This is dabbed over two layers of China Glaze's White on White. (It's the only white I've purchased, a little streaky, as expected of a white polish, but opaque in two coats!)  These photos are taken in direct sunlight.  If you have the chance, snag Blogger up! And, of course, enjoy :)

Gorgeous, no?

Sinful Colors - Pistache

Phew! Work has leveled out and there's energy/time left here.  This green was a (mighty bad ass) gift, and apparently the last one in stock!  Pistache is the borderline-neon green I've been searching for! It was a tad on the thick side, but nothing a few drops of thinner couldn't fix.  After the thinner, it applied like heavenly crack:

With the thinner this was opaque within two coats.  The photo is with three and a coat of Seche Vite Fast Drying Top Coat.  This is one of my favorite colors of the summer. I recently purchased a swimsuit and tank top in this!  Enjoy!

Estee Lauder - Ultra Violet

FINALLY.  Time to sit down and post something!  Work has been draining. Let's always remember - kindness and patience toward your fellow man.

I found this gem at the Outlets - I know, right? - and shudder to think how much it costs online.  It's a deep purple-violet with gold and (semi-holo?) shimmer. Possibly one of the harder polishes to describe!  Either way, it's a beauty on the nail and to apply. This is only two coats for good measure. If I weren't more tame, I would have bought a back-up...

Here's hoping I can post again soon! Enjoy :)

Arose Beyond Shimmer - Sephora OPI

I recently purchased a beautiful glitter bomb at Sephora OPI "Arose Beyond Shimmer."  At first I thought it was pink with somewhat white glitter but looking closer I *think* it's fine red, silver and light blue glitter. I could easily be wrong, though because the glitter is incredibly micro. It's condense and these photos are one coat with most of the glitter drained!

It would look gorgeous on a dark red, probably! Very easy application. Enjoy!

Nifty Shade

I'll say this - almost didn't buy this because of its name: Nifty Shades of Grey. Let's ignore the context of the name and get to the polish!

Nifty Shades of Grey is meant for layering. It's a sheer duochrome of purple, grey, and green. After applying three coats there was no opacity. I want to try this over a dark polish, maybe green or black. That will be a separate experiment. Brushstrokes were visible but workable! The shimmer is beautiful:

Until we meet again! Enjoy!

Man Hunt - China Glaze

During my last trip to the nail supply shop something snapped. I needed blue polish. Honestly, not eight months ago I disliked blue polish. I never wanted to wear solid blue. But last week China Glaze's "Man Hunt" was calling to me. It never stood out before but there it was, calling out "Wear me." So here we are!

Oh my word. Easy application, full opacity in two coats. Creamy-jelly and impeccable with a top coat! Simply irresistible. Formula was wonderful and easy to apply!

I'm in love with "Man Hunt". Enjoy! :)
